I mainly wasn't going to join because I always forget about sites. Especially if there's no one I really know on them (though I see many familiar names here). Plus, I have had bad experiences with joining some new sites which makes me hesitant to join new ones.
The avatars here aren't my favorite either, but I'll probably grow to like them.
And my username is, in fact, the name of one of my OCs. If the right items exist, I may dress my avatar as her eventually.

I think the only thing I don't like about the site theme is how all the NPCs have names that start with "V". It's too much like the families who do the whole "A, B, C" name thing or making twins names start with the same letter.
