I mean, this morning, I literally slept through 2 alarms (which go off a second time if I miss the first one), plus six texts from a friend who was going to give me a lift to job #1 (thankfully, job #1 has super flexible shifts for me, so since I missed working 9-1, I get to work 7-11.

Trying to talk a cat into getting off my lap so I can make tea and working on my mermaid blanket.
Normally, I'm kind of meh when it comes to mermaid stuff, but mermaid blankets are super cute! The one I'm making is super pretty with a stripy yarn in sort of muted pastel teal, blue, and purple and I love it! Debating if I want to sew the cocoon part like the pattern calls for or just leave it flat since I am lazy. Also since I forgot to convert the decrease rows, it's gonna be much bigger than normal. XD
