So I lost my job almost a month ago and I'm going on vacation shortly, so I'm not pursuing any employment until I come back home.
But it's makng for a very lonely existence.
:<

How have ya'll been?
It's been a hot minute since I've had the time to log in...

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Right???
Like, I feel like if I had an SO I might not be going so crazy...
But I JUST started talking to someone. So I feel like I'm constantly bugging him because I'm lonely.
And all of my friends have jobs and are slowly forgetting about me.

I'm going to Florida for about a week to visit family.

@vengeance: Oh my glob, let's trade!
Yesterday I woke up feeling so blah because there's just no life in my apartment.
I can't go outside and tan or go anywhere or do anything...
All I do is sit in bed and watch TV.
;c

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Idk. My sister and I are stressing that it's going to be too hot. :<

I honestly have no structure.
The only two things that I have to do every day is eat and take my vitamins because I got sick just a few days after I lost my job and I don't want to feel so shitty again...
I wish I had something to do or somewhere to go, but I don't drive and the only place near by to go is my old job. And every time I have to go there I realize that I'm not ready to be there yet.

@blinkini: Sure. Then you can deal with my dad complaining about the pain he has while refusing to go to the doctor.

@vengeance: Bet. Anything to have some form of human contact.

I have 2 kitties here so that's enough contact for me at the moment.

@vengeance: I have four, but they've gotten bored with me being home.
Yet when I leave they get mad.
I don't know what to do with them.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: See, I keep telling myself to read or play a video game or get on here and socialize, but as soon as I wake up I put on Hulu and next thing I know the whole day has escaped me.
And unfortunately I don't live in a good area, so walking around by myself isn't the best idea. =/

@vengeance: They have a few. I need to invest in a cat tower for them... But that won't happen until I get a new job.

You can create your own cat hotel. Just use cardboard & Another one here

Two of them are boys that need to be fixed still.
So they spray every piece of cardboard I bring into the apartment.
I'd hate to put in a bunch of effort into something and then have to toss it in a week or so, you know?

Donated toys would hella be appreciated.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Oh yeah, they get the clothes. And occasionally my bed. =/
I just need to get them fixed. But I keep putting off making an appointment.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Lol. It is quite an issue.
The worst was when one of them sprayed on the stove last week and I didn't find out until I went to cook something and the whole apartment smelt like burnt piss.

I would try and get them fixed sooner then later. Even if your spraying cat is spayed/neutered, if the procedure was done later in life, this could be a learned behavior they’ve carried over from their previous “fertile” days.

My mama cat had them a year ago.
I just wasn't able to do it when I had a job because of the hours that I worked and the place I could afford only did spaying and neutering pick ups while I was scheduled. =/
Unfortunately there's nowhere in the area that does it for free. I've decided I'm going to pull the money out of my 401K to pay for it.

I'm pretty sure that the reason they're doing it is to assert dominance. They mount each other a lot and one of them has actually gotten the parents to dislike him most of the time because he can't seem to lay off.

That's true...
But I've already decided I need to do it, anyway.
But calling the place just makes me anxious.
I'm thinking about trying to do it online, instead.
