how many of you own an Iphone, and how many of you own a samsung andriod phone?
sorry but I am debating on a new phone since Imy phone uas a motherboard glitch and I have an annoying green line going down the right side of my phone. I have already taken it to the place I bought it from ai have to wait until, I can get a new phone or a new brand of a phone.
Forums General Chit-Chat Apple Iphone or Samsung Andriod
I think it depends on more which brand you're already using. The app stores are pretty different. There's a lot of overlap between iphone & android stores, but I've found it to be a notable difference (prolly just me tho). My mom has one of the newer Samsung Galaxies, and she loves it.
I had the original samsung galaxy (?? One of maybe?) back in 2014, and it was a good phone.

I use an android, but it isn't samsung. Works good enough for me.

@Fellowsheep: I've had a lot of Sumsungs, and it isn't just me who has had a problem, my mum read that her phone can do the same thing, as what my phone is doing. my friends have had problems with there Samsungs. I already read on what the best phone is right now. and I honestly feel like switching. I know that the app stores are different between the two phone brands, and some games wont let iphone carriers play certain games with Android carries.
@Shark: well that is good to hear that it works good.
@Kairu: my guy has an apple phone, and I've tried it out for playing a game on it before I like it.
@Tuijp: Ooh what sort of debates do you both have? have you done the pros and cons for both phones yet?
@bum: all phones are expensive, but I understand.
@vengeance: some phone cameras work great and some don't I know that apple Iphones take better photos than samsungs do lol.
@sunny: I say look up the pro's and cons on both brands and then decide.
@Kira: Ooh I see, I think since my phone has this motherboard glitch, and it is the samsung galaxy S7 edge and the fact that S8 can get this same motherboard glitch I just might pass on samsung.
@koneko: but also Iphones battery lasts a lot longer than samsungs I've read but I've red a lot of pro's and con's for both.
@Totalanimefan: thank you total, I aint to sure which apple Iphone is the 8, I was wondering more about the Iphone XR?

@SirLionelNigelConrad: that is interesting that it don't have preloaded apps on it that you don't want.
@koneko: Ooh wow and thank you.

Still have my Galaxy Note 3 from 2014, but I've never had an iPhone, so I couldn't say.

I have an iPhone and I love it! It takes beautiful photos and I feel like it’s really user friendly.
I used to have a galaxy and I liked that one too, but I feel safer and have more peace of mind with my iPhone now for reasons that I won’t go into.
I really like that my iPhone communicates with my Mac. I text from my computer and everything that’s on my computer is on my phone all the time.
I have the XR and there were a few odd things to get used to though. Like swiping from the top instead of the bottom and not having a button at all. But still very user friendly.

@Bioshock: all phones are expensive just saying unless you find a cellphone that only cost 20-50 which I haven't found one like that is years at my phone place that I go through.
@LordLucre: it is alright, and I understand.
@Mousy: thank you for letting me know all of this and I appreciate you telling me this, when you had your galaxy and then switched over to and iphone did your number change to sorry to ask. I am just wondering.

@unicorn: yes, but we changed carriers at the same time... I think it was the carrier switch rather than the phone switch.
Please ping! I get distracted easily.
I have a... 2nd? gen iPod touch, and it's the only Apple device I own.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime for my phone phone, and a Galaxy S5 I'm planning on turning into a gaming/media device as soon as I can get a larger SD card(since I can't use it on Tracfone -- boo, hiss).
So I guess you can figure out how I'm leaning, lol. :viosweat:

@onsenmark: I know that a 128gb iphone works great for gaming because that is what my guy has and he plays many games, with how my phone is right now I am only playing one game on it. and that is the legendary : 3.0 game of heroes. hopefully you can Game more and soon.
@Bioshock: More expensive just may seem to last longer, battery wise and and all. I know that none of the samsung phones that I have had the batteries never seem to last for very long. and Iknow on a samsung 8 you can't open up the back and get a new battery once everything is up on our phones. or my phone stops working all together. I might just switch from samsung for a bit.

If you can’t say something nice, Don’t say anything at all!
@Unicorn: well, right now, my gaming device has a 8gb SD card in it, so I don't have that many games -- but I do have Love Live!, BanG Dream! Girls' Band Party, Opera Omnia, FF Record Keeper, and FF Brave Exvius.
Oh, and Pokemon Shuffle and some Touhou-esque game.
Once I upgrade the SD card, I can consider putting more stuff on it, I think.

I used to have an iPhone when the 4S was relatively new but I prefer Android so I have one of those now.
I have an iPhone 5c (hand-me-down from my dad when I didn't have a proper phone of my own yet) and a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x (which I bought last year), the latter being my main phone. Rather than a Samsung, I'd recommend Xiaomi. Most of their phones have both better build design and high-end specs at a fraction of the cost (heck, I'm saving up around 17k in our currency or $326.68 for the Pocophone F1 and looking up prices, the comparable Samsung S9 is at least double that price)...
