@amber lynn:
Well thats definitely a way to deal with it lol. When i was little and afraid of something, my mom just hid that thing from me.

@lufi:
Yeah. That habit lasted well into my teen years.

@dragonickittens:
Thaks it probably wont last much longer tho. As soon as i get out of bed its over for this avi lol.

Dance, monkey! Dance!

After watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail as a kid, and seeing the scene with a killer bunny, I did not like white bunnies.

@Vermii: A while ago I took this picture of this pretty moth, it was green. I wish I could find the picture but it was on my old phone so I don't have it anymore.

@Tuijp:
oh! that reminds me.
I had a very, very similar experience with beetles when i was a child.
I used to play on this school playground from time to time if my grampa took me that way.
it wasn't my school. one weekend, the school hosted a movie for all the kids in the neighbourhood. I went to check it out.
they were showing the Mummy. i happened to walk in on the scene where a dude gets wreckt by a scarab or something, and from then on i was terrified that anything beetle-like would crawl up under my shoe and eat my brain.

@nut:
relatable.
I'm also still afraid of the dark loool.
i have to sleep with some kind of light on. i also can't stand silence at night. my anxiety shoots thru the roof.

@DragonicKittens:
i'm fickle when it comes to my avis. i'm constantly changing it.

@Queen of Trash:
there was one time, i used to live in a town and every summer we'd get absurd amounts of caterpillars. in fact, i think most places do.
i dunno if you'r familiar with those black fuzzy guys. but anyway, when it came time for them all to be moths, the sheer number of them was horror movie level. i mean, it didn't bother me since i am absolutely fascinated by moths, but anyone with a fear of bugs would have a heart attack seeing this.
I worked late and often had to walk home, and there were a couple of nights where, the moment you opened the door, it looked like an all out snow storm anywhere there was a light source. just a ginormous ball of moth fluttering about.

@Queen of Trash:
it was definitely very neat to watch!

one night, i had a little hitchhiker land on my work hat and they sat there during my entire walk home.
it was adorable. then they fluttered off into the night.

@Vermii: honestly i don’t think i was that scared of anything in particular, i didn’t really like dolls either but i still don’t particularly like them
i HATED mannequins and statues though, i still don’t like them but when i was younger i used to think they moves when we weren’t looking, i blame Doctor Who for that

@KairoSama:
valid.
i don't think DW ever spawned any fears in me, BUT i had a friend who had to actually bolt it up the stairs for the longest time because she was terrified of children in gas masks coming after her.

@DragonicKittens:
i change mine often on gaia too lmao.

i'm just always discontent with whatever i make it seems like. if i end up coming up with an avi i actually enjoy, i'll keep that on for as long as i possible can until i get tired of looking at it lol.
