@DragonicKittens: it's what we do for the people we love haha.
Forums General Chit-Chat Oof, I did a whole lot today
@Queen of Trash: Yeah, I wouldn't change anything for him though
@DragonicKittens: I have that same feeling.
@DragonicKittens: for me I don't hate it. I enjoy the co-workers etc. But it takes a lot of energy and brain power to be a scheduling coordinator. And patience, which I severely lack.
@Queen of Trash: Yeah lol. But some times I want to strangle him in his sleep, I wouldn't actually do it.
@Harker: That makes sense to me. I know one job I had was pretty draining, plus customers who thought you should be by them the whole time can get really annoying too.
@DragonicKittens: omg me too. I obviously wouldn't but sometimes I want to hahaha.
@DragonicKittens: The part I dislike the most is calling people for shifts and they don;t Fkin answer or call back. Or they go away and don;t tell us so we're calling and calling and don;t know that they are unavailable. Or when the hospital calls in shifts last minute. lol
@Harker: Oof, I will say this, I will try to give a 2 week notice as well as let my job know what days I need to have off if I need it, but some people won't do it. The only time I will call in last minute is unless I am really sick, which doesn't happen often.
@DragonicKittens: yeah and even then thyare supposed to as soon as possible lol. Unlike other jobs where an hour or so before your scheduled shift. Some of our clients need 24h care and if someone calls off last minute the client has to be rushed to the hospital...
@Harker: Jeez, that really isn't good. D: I will say this, I thought about being a nurse once, but I changed my mind since I get sick very easily when it comes to certain smells. But I'm completely fine with blood.
@DragonicKittens: lol it's fun bossing people around on the phone like YOU WANT WORK THEN TAKE THE SHIFTS I ASK YOU TO TAKE lol
but it can be tedius. Today the hospital called to change shifts I booked, so I had to cancel some people, but now tomorrow they may have reinstated those shifts cause they called 3x before we closed within 20 minutes before closing, so it's not like I could get a hold of my people in that time frame to say, hey we may need you again!
lol

@Harker: Missed the ping since I had a lot of notifications yesterday xD
But ouch, that sucks. I did hear that working in a hospital can be hard. But I respect all of you guys.
@DragonicKittens: I wouldn;t know hahaa I just schedule people to go to homes or hospitals luckily from an office nowhere near that germ-centric place. This hospital is like the worst in canada for mortality rates. Cause we got a lot of old people here...lol
@Harker: Oof, that bites. xD
@DragonicKittens: Yep and our doctors always seem to not stay long so we're at a health crisis and our MP doesn't care.
so yeeeeeeep.
