Seems the transportation mode is by plane (as evident by the trailer) and we will be upgrading an airport.

Players will be given a Nook Phone to start with, which contains a general map. Also Nook Miles: "Nearly everything you do earns you “Nook Miles,” which are inspired by airplane mileage programs." A camera that comes with filters, Record Keeping of bugs/fish/etc. And probably much more as the game progresses.

It looks like you might be able to pick and choose where villagers go? Harvesting certainly got upgraded, and it looks like you can really have fun with decorating the place

I'm sad that it's been delayed, but I'm very excited for all of the QoL changes and the features they carried over from HHD. I'm so excited for it, it looks really great so far! Being able to have 8 people together is going to be chaotic, but a lot of fun. XD
