Coupons are annoying, i like it better when all your deals and sales are on your phone or your membership card. So much less fiddling.
Big spending discounts are great tho, anywhere between 20% to 50%, we are getting less of them now that there are less people in the house and thus less to buy but it is awesome when you get them.

@vengeance: Drinks are good to buy in large amounts, usually a low alchol beer. We don't really drink soda anymore, too unhealthy.
And honestly mayo is so much better when you make it yourself, there is no comparison. When i make ketchup it doesn't really turn out the way i want it, hard to get properly ripe tomatoes in the store so maybe i have to bike over to a farmer and buy some.

What kind of licorice?

@vengeance: Too busy, too lazy or some other reason you don't do things yourselves?
Not my favorite type of licorice but not bad either, i hate salt licorice or hard licorice candy.

@vengeance: Any favorite type of cake? I like a lot of types but one i am asked to make often is german lemon cake.

@vengeance: Butter cake, so a heavier kind of sugar cake, nothing wrong with that. Not very exciting tho.
Dutch apple pie looks nice, very rustic. I like making crumbles with lots of oat in it, i love oat.

@vengeance: One doesn't have to be as long as one isn't killing oneself with bad food choices. By the way do you know what i mean when i say german lemon cake?
