@Valefor: ctrl+Z is my go-to short cut haha.
My tablet has a lot of express keys but i mostly use undo, zoom in and out and save
as my priority keys.

Yeah I am trying to train my brain that mistakes are good
and this is a trial and error type of thing.
I think the hardest thing for me is using hard and soft edges.
But i'll get there.

@Xaria: Since i've been getting a lot of jaw pain it's been bothering me
we got x-rays and saw impacted and sideways teeth.
And my mouth has felt very crowded lol.
So i'll be glad when they are out.

@SnakeWeaver: Lavender essential oil pretty much lol.
But the whole procedure i'll be on anesthesia.
I think i am scared i'll wake up during the procedure or something lol.

when they aren't bothering you as it can just really be difficult to deal with them.

@SnakeWeaver: True but my mom told me horror stories of her waking up during a procedure so
now i am paranoid about that.

@MoodyBats: Gotta love express keys! I do appriciate that tablets come with them. My previous one didn't have any so I'm still used to using my keyboard even with my current tablet. xD

Yea it's hard. But hey, it's much easier on yourself than trying to be a perfectionist all the time. c:
I feel you with the soft and hard edges. Took me a long time to learn not to over blend/blur everything when i first started digital art. xD

@Valefor: tbh i never knew about express keys
until i was looking up tablets and watching reviews
before purchasing my current tablet.
I LOVE express keys. I feel sometimes I am too lazy or have a too crowded desk
arrangement that i can't reach my tablet so express keys are so handy.
My tablet is actually much longer than my computer so it's not easy to do short cuts unless
they are on the express keys.

I'm trying not to be a perfectionist as that is honestly a huge
thing of mine to do is try to be perfect.
Yup but i have some Oc's I can experiment with coloring on.
I just am so bad at anatomy but trying to get better and finish things faster.
I want to very soon make my own draw this in your style hashtag.
Cause i find it super fun and great way to make friends and just have fun drawing.

@MoodyBats: Saaame! I didn't know about them until i bought my current one. I was mindblown. xD
I get what you mean! It's handy especially if you're desk is crowded or can't reach your keyboard. You have all your most used shortcuts in one space! <3

haha exactly! I'm a perfectionist too and sometimes I have to tell myself that whatever I'm working on is done, and I just need to stop going back and trying to "fix" it. xD
At least, you have some OCs for some experimentation lol. Learning and practicing anatomy takes a lot. But very worth while in the end. c: You can do it!!

Ooh, I want to try the "draw this in your style" too but i don't have a lot of friends with ocs. xD But if you ever do start one, I'd love to join as well. 8D

I love them so much. I am planning to get a smaller tablet
but it has at least 6 of them
which is plenty for me.

My current tablet has 12. :vanora_sweat:

For real. I finish freebies and art for others a lot faster lately
than my own projects as I keep coming up with new ideas for past projects haha.
Sometimes my brain has no idea how to do gesture drawing since there are many ways to do it
but trying to find a way that is comfortable for me.

I don't either but i probably won't do it until I open my art accounts and gain a little more followers.
Cool thing is if you do the dtiys and use the hash tag other users on instagram can find it and try it too.
So i think that is pretty cool.

Awesome! I love the draw this in your style.
I wanted to participate in so many but a lot had deadlines. So I couldn't.

Saaaaame! I don't do a lot of oc art which i should. But I like drawing art for others. xD I just spend forever on making art for myself though. But I feel you on that! xD
Gesture drawings can be hard! And like you said, there's so many different ways to approach it that it can be daunting at first.

Oh shoot, I think i misread and was thinking of another challenge. ^^; But i know which challenge you're talking about now LOL. I want to try that too but i don't have a lot of followers either. I do want to join a few but limited time at the moment like you too. ; o;

@Valefor: for me, i feel it's kinda too big
so I often am too lazy to actually use it.
I have been looking at XP pen's Star 06 tablet as it's smaller and has about x4 the pressure sensitivity.
And a lot less battery charging time for the tablet.
Mine takes 5-7 hours and the XP pen one only takes 2 hours.

I don't ever draw Oc art tbh. Most of the time it's random poses and random outfits I like.
But most never get finished lol. But i am determined to finish it.

Yeah, i usually am trying all of the ways and then picking out which I am most comfortable with.
though i feel i am more focused on the contour of the pose than the gesture
so I need to work on that.

That's okay, there are so many art challenges out there. I never join any challenge really
but i will once i get a bigger following and love to see how people draw this one too.

@MoodyBats: Lol, mood. xD But understandable too!
And that tablet has a decent amount of keys and features! Plus it's wireless which is a plus! Also nice that it takes less time to charge too. My current one can also be wireless but Wacom is so expensive even with their accessories that the wireless kit is around $40 usd. I didn't want to spend more than i have to espeically as a student lol. ; o;

Finishing an artwork is always a struggle. xD I've abandon so many wips of my ocs and some fanart. ^^;

Oh, I see what you mean. Kind of like working on shapes and contours first and then gradually get to the details?

True. Just takes time to gain a following, but we can both do it! c:
