You're in Hawaii??? Dude that's LIT. I'd love to at least visit someday O wO it's so beautiful over there! Clear blue water, lush green plants, delicious food... I had a friend who'd moved here from Hawaii and I couldn't believe he would voluntarily come to this hot, dusty corner of the world from a place like that; but I hear it can be pretty expensive to live there, and things are relatively dirt cheap in this neck of the woods.

This just made me think of the last episode of Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories. Everyone crammed into the tiny diner to share some tasty summer watermelon and reflect on the year O uO
10/10 recommend the show (though it's a Netflix exclusive) to anyone who's into Japanese culture / food / slice-of-life shows. My only regret is that there's only one season thus far. I kinda developed a crush on the diner owner.
