@Lady Luna: I live in a lame town in New Jersey named after a type of tree like many are. We have some lovely flowering trees here though on my street! My grandma's street is called forest avenue for a reason too. There's a forest and a creek behind her house.

@Lady Luna: I agree- trees are a wonderful part of nature, and nature is important in cities and rural areas alike! And yes, Forest Ave. There's lots of streets named after natural things. Like one that's named after valleys in spring. xD

@Lady Luna: Those are specifically roads near my grandma. My area... Has multiple of the same named street in a very close vicinity. xD

@Lady Luna: Likewise. I love most plants though, really. I'm not good at tending to them on the other hand xD

@Lady Luna: the only time I have a green thumb is when I use a green marker or something xD Considering my name's a tree and I've always been very attached to them, you'd think I could do more than kill any plant that's in my care because I'm so forgetful with my own liquid intake... let alone anything/anyone else's.

@Lady Luna: lol I've only ever drawn trees on fire. But I suck at drawing in general... so even without the fire, I basically ruined the trees.

@Lady Luna: I try. I have sooo much art supplies. In the past half a year my dad's bought me art stuff as a gift twice. First was a nice big box of gel pens, then for my birthday... colored pencils that come in a special easy to carry case that rolls up and can hold a hand pencil sharpener~

@Lady Luna: I use pen more than pencil often because I'm usually too lazy to erase things anyway. I always prefer to draw my own handmade cards for birthdays and holidays, for example. Usually it's anime(ish) characters, cakes, balloons, flowers... fruit. Whatever comes to mind for the time. I used to love drawing cats in boxes too, for some reason.

@Lady Luna: I did the last couple cards I made in gel pen. I've been making cards on my own for years... Like most of my life years. I never feel as good about giving a card I bought for some reason. It feels less personal. One year, I was on a sewing kick (though again, suck at it) and made awkwardly handmade pillow type things for people. My grandma got a heart lightly stuffed with excess cloth as a mother's day gift. Friend got a worse made star because somehow a heart is easier to cut and sew out of cloth than a star? o.o;

@Lady Luna: Hehe, I normally don't physically make gifts, just cards. I was just having fun with sewing that year anyway. I learned I hate sewing machines that year too- I did all the sewing by hand, because my small sewing machine was just so loud it made it hard for me to keep things steady. xD
