@gossamer: O_O I haven’t heard of any contract that does that, but it does fall in line with what I’ve heard about the schools having leverage on you and blackmailing you to work for less. I think the most BS thing in my contract in Japan was that foreign teachers in my city aren’t allowed to drive cars. )x Very stupid, but not illegal.
That’s always the issue with series that have games, animes, and manga versions. It gets more confusing when they add in remakes and spin-offs too...
