@Lily: She's still pretty strong, but by the time she reaches me it'll just be tropical storm level winds. And it's pretty solidly, I'm not in the direct line of fire.

Maybe that's Irma's plan all along, open a coconut oil store in the midwest when everything settles down.
Yay, glad you like it, AMA!

This avie art on the wall thing reminds me, back when I was younger I'd get paints out whenever anyone came over to my house for the first time and have them paint something on my bedroom wall. Good times.

@Lily: Actually a gas station got into a lot of shit because they jacked up gas to over 7 bucks to capitalize on the emergency. And there are people who honest to the gods believe that Irma is a hoax created by liberals.

@Lily: Price gouging like that is very illegal in Florida.

It's practically murder @_@ imagine, you lose stuff in a natural disaster and you also have to spend more on other stuff because hoarders are price gouging.

It is a problem during disasters like this. Fake charities stealing money, gas price gouging, ass holes collecting the flooded cars after the disaster is over to resell even though the car won't ever be driveable again. People are dicks. Big ol' bags of dicks.

It's hard to deal with overly optimistic people. Like a certain person we all know.
