Well that sucks balls. So I play World of Warcraft, and it's brewfest time. Lol thanks to some butthurt complaining getting drunk in game doesn't seem to be a thing anymore.

Let me guess, someone was offended about something?

I guess so. Like they turned it off for European servers because of a law where you can't promote drunking in a game marketed to minors. But it seems to be turned off for American servers too.

True. It's like that in a lot of European countries.

Alright upon further testing, alcoholic drinks not associated with Brewfest still get you wasted. But the drinks sold for the holiday event no longer work for that purpose.

Just the suggestion that a minor can get wasted is a big no no for a lot of European countries

Yeah but in many cases they'll get to drink years before we 'Muricans can.

Yeah you can drink at the age of 18 here (used to be 16)

Still a hard 21 here, granted most of us started drinking before that point.

Same, but it does get harder to do that for minors here. If a bar serves a drink to a minor, no matter if they bought it themselves or a friend bought it, they get a fine. That can go into thousands. Same goes for shops. If I would go to a shop with a minor and want to buy alcohol, I won't get it because of the minor. If I would, the store might get a fine. The only exception on that rule is if a parent buys it.

We just a few years ago created a similar law. I don't know if it applies to other states, but here both adult and minor have to be carded and if the minor is in fact under drinking age they can't sell the adult the booze. No one enforces that law, mostly because cashiers are too stupid to keep up with new laws. Buuuuuuuuuut if caught it's not just a fine, that's jail time.

The law system here is ridiculous. There are so many thing people aren't send to jail for or they get a very, very short sentence. Someone killed his baby and got 18 months.

Here, depending on the state, he'd be on death row.

Hello everyone!
I see we're talking about my favorite subject, killing babies on death row.

We had life in prison, but the European said it was too harsh
That is pretty hard to do

Which is why if you're going to be a serial killer, be one in Europe.

I mean, I don't know any specifics of how to be a successful serial killer, but I mean. I do watch a LOT of documentaries and shit.

Totally do it in Europe: you get a private cell, a tv, you can work and get money to buy extra food. You also get free food and free insurance.
