We bought more coffee last night, so it's fine.
My mom sent my brother and I to do some of the grocery shopping. >w>
Yeeeah. We managed it, but there was some confusion along the way. Like yeah sure the list said 'tortillas' but it didn't say how many packs. Or what size of this or that.
Yeah my mother used to make lists like that. So, every time before I went, I sat down with her asking how much of certain things and making notes.
My mom was like 'yeah I just guesstimate'. That doesn't help. She was too sick to do the shopping with me like normal. So she sent my brother with me.
Seriously. Like it's pretty easy if you're feeding like one or two folks, shit gets more complicated when it's for four people or in some cases six people (soon to be seven).
Thankfully my cousin and her son don't really eat that much. But sometimes they take about half of what we made, to feed everyone else too.
That is a lot of food o.o
So I'm a boring person, who really enjoys watching really boring documentaries because I find them interesting. Like a few months ago I watched one on the evolution of the bathroom. In the furry chat someone posted a link about a guy who stank so bad that it forced a plane to land. Many of the passengers threw up from the smell, and some fainted. This lead to a conversation about how in the way begone time, people really didn't believe in bathing. They thought it was both indecent, and that it would make them sick to bathe. Anyway I just love when people use Wiki as their sources.
Back in the day, people would take a dump in the streets or in a bucket and threw that on the street.
Pretty much yeah. The past was really really gross, and this includes the Regency. So Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth would've stank to high heaven.
Yeah after I saw a docu about it, I decided that living in this time is better. Even of it's just for antibiotics.
