I finally moved up in my job and now I will be making enough to decently support my family so that we can move out.
TwT I need a job like crazy. No matter how many applications I put out there, nothing.
Awww -hugs- Just gotta keep calling those companies back yourself to pester them until someone hires you.
Yeah. Just at some point, there's only so much rejection you can take.
Yeah, the applying part is always discouraging for me as well. It's the worst.
The problem is, I don't have references, I don't have experience, and it's just...nothing works on my depression more than thinking about my unemployment.
Ah. Yeah, it does take a while to build up that stuff. I only got into some places because I knew others who worked there as well.
How I got my first two jobs, I was friends with the right people.
That's some experience. It should still help.
For references, I always put friends who knew me for a few years.
Most applications here request you not use friends or family.
Yeah, but if that's all you have, then that's all you can give them.

Lol I have too, but it just hasn't seemed to help. There is a program to help people like me, with mental health issues that make things difficult, and my case manager is looking into seeing if I qualify. My fingers are crossed.
