Maybe you're allergic to coffee or if you use cream perhaps lactose intolerant.
I am lactose intolerant, but that usually bothers my stomach not my chest. -shrugs- oh well.

I don't know, I've never had a food allergy but my mom has a shellfish allergy and she was told that each reaction would probably get worse.
I've never had heartburn that bad though granted I can't stand coffee.
I've been drinking coffee since I was five, that is not hyperbole either. This is a new reaction.
My mother ate shrimp all her life until she suddenly had a reaction and was diagnosed with a shellfish allergy.
