I had hard glue under my nail a while ago and after a few days I found out a bit was still there
One of my walls is unfinished wood with splinters and staple sticking out of it. It finally got me.

But that does remind me of the time I stepped on a row with staples. That was painful.

There was no blood when the staples were in, but for some reason I pulled them out and then walked down the stairs

Sounds like when I cut my foot on some glass that had broken in the kitchen. My uncle cleaned most of it up, but my foot of course found the little bit that missed. Dragged blood all through the kitchen trying to get back to my room where my first aid supplies are. Came back to clean it up, thankfully my uncle had already started mopping it away.
