Depends on the remake. Like supposedly The Good Doctor is okay, and that's a remake of an Asian drama. And Thirteen Ghosts remake is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the original.
Kozi can't watch the Thirteen Ghosts remake though, that's super heavy on jump scares.

I prefer Star Trek, lol my favorite is Deep Space 9 though. I too am a nerd.

Pretty much, but some fandoms are worse than others.
I really only like the Next Generation, though. The original was just too hokey for me, and some of the others I either didn't see all the way through, or didn't interest me.

Yeah I couldn't do the original series, the acting might be amusing to other people. It annoyed the crap out of me.
@Another Movie Addict: Yep, same. I have to admire their gaul, though. Even up until early TNG, the instrument panels were just plastic sheets with Christmas lighs underneath. XDD;;
Lol ruin the magic. Omg I've been rewatching NCIS with a friend, and the fakeness of some of the gory bits is just so obvious to me now.
