It can be. It's an unknown disease for most people, even while 1 on every 5,000 have it.

@Tuijp: well that is intesresting to know, he has told me that he can't drink or eat certain things two because of his heart condiction I didn't ask him much of it though

Yeah that can happen. Thanks to Marfan, I can eat fish or I will get sick (I had a hole in my stomach last year, thanks to Marfan. Had an operation, but can't eat it ever since)

@Tuijp: so you can't eat fish sorry to hear that. Also I am sorry to ask but how did it make a hole in your stomach was it because of eating fish? So its like being allergic to fish

No the hole was because of a combination of Marfan, stomach flu and a lot of stress. I had been sick with the stomach flu for 2 weeks and that made my stomach weak. Then, with the stress combined, my stomach tipped open and all the stomach fluids that were in, and should just be in there, went through my belly.
At the ER, they did a lot of test, without results. They then made a scan and saw the fluids in my belly and air in my stomach and realised what was going on. They first thought it could be a vein that bursts, thanks to Marfan.
I had an emergency operation, spend a week in the hospital with a huge drain and heavy antibiotics.

Sounds like me and anything lemon.
After I had to drink several bottles of lemon flavored grossness for the scan I had to do when I got sick, I just can't handle even the smell of anything lemon.
Buying tooth paste must be a bitch then.
