@Totalanimefan: Nakai plays all the best historical samurai. I love Date Masamune and Hijikata historically, but I love the crazy way he plays them. That “LET’S PARTY!” is just legendary. xD
Hirata and Yamaguchi are pretty well respected because of their roles in One Piece. But omg, Hirata has played some strange BL roles that I just can’t stop associating him with. He also played this 40 year old teacher dating a high school student in this pedo anime (I forgot what it was called, but it’s kinda new-ish.) Yamaguchi has more class in my eyes because he’s also detective Conan, which is almost as big as One Piece in Japan. He and Koyasu are ones who have done a lot of old stuff. Muuuuch respect to them both.
Oh man, Mamoru is in so many stuff, but I first noticed him in OHSHC as Tamaki. But he does every part so well that sometimes I don’t realize it’s him. xD But other times, it’s super obvious like him voicing Utapuri’s Tokiya and Amai Mask in One Punch Man.
I feel like there aren’t many female voice actors I follow because their voices can be high and annoying, but I will vouch for the entire female cast of Gintama. Holy shit, they were so amazing to watch. Tsukiyo’s VA is surprisingly really pretty.

@Totalanimefan: Yo, Japanese children would love you! If you add Dragon Ball, that is the trifecta of anime treasures in Japan. xD I got left behind in both Detective Conan and One Piece once I got into college, so I had to look up a lot of stuff to fill in the gaps when talking to my students.
I didn’t know the voice actor that does Tae is the same person who did Kagome and Chidori! Daaaaang, she has range. xD
Also, did you know Goku’s voice actor is an OLD WOMAN?! D: Like, he even sounds like an old woman in Japanese... blew my mind.
