Omg, I think CA is like the progressive state other states aspire to be. You guys had some privacy data laws pass that made a lot of companies add the option to opt out of data collecting and sharing for customers.
So far VA is tackling gun laws, anti-abortion laws, and an old discriminatory law that got forgotten. I really wish they would up the minimum wage to $15+ like DC and MD have. >__>; But baby steps I guess...

@Tsundererra: Yes, these smart appliances have the potential to make some things easier for certain people, but it really just seems like overkill to me, and the potential to have it hacked is a liability. I can't see the real appeal.
