Came up with the idea to let herself out through my parents bedroom window. This would be fine if it was during the day. But nop she does it in the middle of the night. And then around 5-6AM she will start mewing to be let back in. Because nop she will not get back in through that window.

@Totalanimefan: Yes the window is always open. My parents cannot sleep with a closed window. And their bedroom door is open because we have a dog that likes to sleep in their room at night.

Maybe the smallest gap will work but I doubth my parents want that. The window needs to be open far enough for their liking.

@Totalanimefan: They used to have a bug screen in front of it. Keeping the cat out is not an option because then they need to keep to dog out as well. And doggo wants to be there where they are.
