Nope, not anymore. My parents were in the U.S. Air Force, so they got stationed in Okinawa during the last half of their career. It was amazing while we lived there, and I wish I could have appreciated it more. Would love to go back for a visit someday with my kiddo(s).

I've never been in a store with so much STUFF, but I absolutely love it lol. Just looking at everything gives me ideas for future dream house stuff. If I'm not careful, I could easily walk out with a bunch of stuff I don't actually need. xD

It was really neat. You could literally drive around the entire island within a day, but there was a LOT to do there, so you were never bored! My favorite things to do were go explore the restaurants and shops on the weekends.

Yesss, the kids' stuff is so cool! Makes me excited for when my son gets old enough to use some of their beds, because I looove the bunk beds with like the extra storage space underneath. He's only 2 though, so it'll be some time before he can use that stuff.

It really was! And the locals were always so nice. <3

It's funny, living there you always wanted to come back to the States eventually (or wherever you were from, I suppose), but after leaving, you really wanna go back sometime. Or at least that's my experience, and anyone I ask who has been there.

Yep yep, and I was there for 6 years. Age 8-14 (am 29 now).

Yeeeah, I'm probably gonna have a house full of Ikea stuff whenever I get my own house. xDD You know what I love about their stuff too? It's all so cheap (comparatively speaking). Even if I have to put it together, idc because I saved money!

and yes it is v cheap lol - sometimes for better or worse, but i think most of things tend to be a good or decent value
i actually do enjoy putting furniture together! lol but i know some ppl hate that part

haha literally the only item i have under footwear are winged anklets
wah fozzy did this amazing avi a few weeks that was like left half angel right half demon and it was the best use of single half equip i've seen

my mom sent me this youtube video of someone "from the future" who was like, insurance companies are out of business by 2060 bc of all the natural disasters .................
