Lol had a D&D session last night, and while everyone is off doing like super important things. My character spent the entire time trying to mail off a letter. She's designed to not be the brightest bulb on Broadway. So someone with shiny fiery red hair walked by her, and she completely forgot what she was supposed to be doing. She followed the person with the pretty hair, just to ask if it was soft and if she could touch it. The person let her do it, and everyone is just awing at how cute my character is. The fiery haired person was there for someone else's part of the story. My character finally remembered she was supposed to be mailing a letter. So round two of trying to get to the post office thingy. She gets distracted a few minutes by seagulls and chasing them. Again she remembers what she's supposed to be doing. Finally mails her letter, but doesn't understand how magic mailboxes work. Her letter disappears, and she just slumps onto the ground crying that she fucked her letter up.

That was mine. Do y'all have any good ones? Funny? Sad? What have you?

Are ya ready, guyz?!

I have a game that's ongoing, it's play when you can
One person went afk to where I, the DM, took over
Right now they're literally one point from opening the chest. Yes, this game is extremely homebrew
Right now it's a dungeon crawl, clear the mine of monsters
But that's Phase 1, and we aren't done yet
Phase 2 is spoilered
then they gotta find out who summoned the monsters in the first place

Good times :')

Put ya guns awn!

All of my DND stories are basically this:

Get started with a super cool group of friends and a DM I only know kind of well...
    Game starts out fun!
    DM starts delaying games...
    DM starts canceling games...
    DM stops showing up.

Had a DM who was just starting out. She had all her books ready, reading the story as we came across it sometimes, just so we could get more games in during a busy summer.
Small group, three of us as players, and it was all hectic lol. We skipped huge chunks of the story once we heard about a dragon, unaware it was supposed to be a damn near end-game boss but our DM adjusted.
Hours of fighting (after many failed attempts at trying to marry the dragon for his castle) and saving throws later, we manage to kill it, only to use a disguise kit to dress everyone up, even the ogre NPC I rolled to seduce, love, and follow us, as the dragon we just slayed. We wanted to speak to a cultist and we thought he'd give the dragon big money if we rolled good enough lol

Tipsy DND during summer break was always the best

Used to play a game that was based off the dark souls universe. SO, dark and dreary, yada yada.
There was this NPC named Sophia who was appeared earlier in the game. She was a blind little lady with one foot that's broken totally backwards so she can't even walk. She wasn't meant to be anything significant, just a small merchant with only a few items in case we wanted any, then she'd never appear again throughout their travels.

DnD never goes according to the GM's planning though.

We had a dragon/argonian on the team who decided to flirt with the merchant. GM allowed him to roll for it and he got a crit, so chaos ensued at the table and it all ended up with the argonian asking Sophia to join the party. GM argued she cant walk, but the argonian just-so-happened to have wasted all his funds on a donkey prior to this, which Sophia ended up riding on.
Another character had a cactus plant he wanted to protect through the journey, so Sophia also ended up holding onto that.
During battles, things would try to attack Sophia but always missed or critical failed.
Basically, Sophia is in the party now and there's nothing the GM can do about it
