I think the posting milestones are all out of whack now because of The Undercurrent.
I don't think it's fair to to count spam posts, especially when our top poster is the spam queen and has literally 60k more posts than the 2nd place poster.

I think it’s easy to feel that way but spamming is nice sometimes when you just want to veg out to spam in the forum. Plus it keeps people from just replying to new threads and then leaving because there is nothing else to do. It has kept me online when no one else posting and I think that’s good.

However I feel like we need to have actual conversation to make Voltra interesting for users.

I feel like with this issue I can see both sides of the coin and I think that both are completely valid. I think that it's interesting to talk about though.

Not to mention that the spam forum cap is 10 volts.
That's a lot for spam.
Personally, I think it should have capped at 5 instead. If that.
And having it count towards site goals just seems wrong, too.
They're not real posts, they don't contribute anything to anyone...
Idk, I just have a lot of feelings about it.

@Anarchist Beauty: yeah 10 is the most. But I have found that it’s hard to get to 10 volts. I normally only get one because if I do spam it’s just an emote and that’s one one volt lol
Did you know that some people use that thread to chat or post art? No everyone does but some do.
I totally see what you mean about post counts not meaning as much but we don’t get anything for it either ^^;
