@ephenay: Well, if we do an event themed one, then we'd risk having to have it that it ends when the event ends if we don't manage to finish it by then, lol.
If we just do general then we could just let it go however long?

@Amber Lynne: Does it have polarizing opinions? It’s pretty easy and relaxing to do once you have the basics down. I usually make amigurumi toys to give to friends.

@Amber Lynne: You only hate it if you’re struggling to learn the basics. xD I hated it and almost quit when I couldn’t learn it from books or videos, but then I went to a crochet class and now I’m ok. I’m trying to learn how to knit now and I’m going through that frustrating struggling period all over again.

@Amber Lynne: Ahhhh, so a lot of people who know how to knit always seem to find crocheting difficult because knitting is easier, so I think I get where you heard that opinion from. (And it feels like it’s difficult for crochet learners to learn how to knit).
Where did you learn to knit? :D You should get back into it, it’s a pretty cool skill to have.

hmm i suggested the event rp because i thought we'd both like the extra candy canes x) it's cool if you rather not tho.
buuut if we were... we could do something season related? i suck at ideas, so maybe like Voltra lore rp? XD i'd need to catch up on the new event lore but i'd be down. winter solstice could be a temp theme and when the event forum gets archived, we could move it to the regular roleplay forum with more of a regular storyline?
what do you think?

I kind of learned how to crochet too.
Did a lot of crossstitch as well.
... suffice to say, I've always been artsy in one way or another, lol. All those were before I started to properly draw.

@Amber Lynne: ohh man, i don't really know much about it either LOL i read like one page of the event archive at most.
i kinda see as it a modern city with magic properties? the items help with envisioning it in a way. just to get a feel for it. heck, we could make up anything as we go, i don't really mind. it would be pretty tedious to try and read up every single lore post x_x
being people in the city sounds good to me. maybe it can be like a good will situation? where they take in public donations and sell them for cheap. and for a seasonal spin, maybe there is something like a donation event, where they gather up stuff to donate for the winter solstice. what do you think?
