"It's... an unfortuante truth." She added after a moment or two.

". . . and if we keep interfereinig, it'll just get... worse." She added with a light sigh.

"....hmmm." Vincent mumbled.

"Well, it'll happen when it happens." he said.

"However, from what little I know of things like this, it won't be... as soon as to be suspicious? I guess?" he continued.

"It will more than likely happen within the month." he guessed.

"...still. A shame." he lamented.

"Samuel's a good man. A shame that it seems this is his destiny." he went on, genuine sadness in his tone.

"He is. It's rather surprising, and quite unfortunate." She agreed.

"I'll make sure that Gregory ... doesn't go too roughly with him." Cleo then said after a moment or two.

"... if he'll listen." She added with a light sigh.

"He needs someone to work with him. I swear." Madison commented.

"No one wants to. Who would?" Cleo responded.

"Well, I'm sure you two have things to talk about." he said.

"I'm going back to my room to rest and take this all in." he went on.

"Madison, I'll check on your leg in the morning." he then told Madison.

"See how it's healing, and see if we'll need to get medical assistance for it."

"Thanks, Vincent." She said after a moment or two.

"I do appreciate it." She added.

"Cleo... go spend some time with him." She then said. The spirit paused.

"Are you sure?" She asked Madison, who nodded.

"Here." With a wave of her hand, Cleo felt herself become corporeal.

"you have about six hours.... I think." Madison told her. Cleo didn't say anythign though, as she was too stunned to come up with words.

Madison had never been able to do that before.

Vincent was quiet as well, before looking between the females.

"Ah... I..." he stammered.

"Well then." he said.

"That is certainly quite some talent." he told Madison.

"I've never seen a necromancer able to do that so casually." he went on.

He then looked at Cleo, and sighed quietly.

"Well, she said 6 hours." he commented, smiling softly.

Cleo just chuckled lightly.

"Madison, take care of yourself." She said to the teen.

"I'll stop by later." She added.

"I know. Go." Madison said simply, a soft - pained - smile on her face.

After they were gone, having retreated to Vincent's room, Madison grabbed her phone as she scooted back - and laid back - on the bed.

Madison just chuckled again, before telling him where she was, and then laying back on the bed.

She had her mana back, it was stronger than ever, she was still enjoying the once-in-a-lifetime experience with Vincent and the others... for the first time in years, things were looking up again.
