I like to try new foods whenever I can do so. Tonight I finally got to try deep fried gator tail. Was alright. Didn't taste that much like chicken, had more of a fishy flavor to it.

I recently tried crickets. They have become my favorite snack when ever I see some for sale.

I’ve tried cow’s tongue (my personal favorite), gators, snakes, snails, ostrich, and kangaroo. The last two ones were in burger form and very gamey. Bleh.

@Another Movie Addict: Which ones in particular would you be scared to try? The snake was similar to the gator texture-wise, and the snail was in this nice butter garlic sauce that made me forget I was even eating snail. xD

OH snake is good too. Once I tried buffalo it was good as well. My grnadma cooks frog legs.. but I could not try those D:

Ahh, I forgot I tried frog legs too. Those were... gross. Definitely does not taste like chicken... and the texture was not my favorite.

Some of these are harder to try in my area. Alligator is easy because I'm in Florida, so they're everywhere.
Lately, I've been trying foods I've hated since I was a kid to see if my taste has changed. It has, for the most part lmao except for my lifelong hatred of onions...
@rosehip: Yeah, no matter how many times I try. I really do not like sea food. XD
@rosehip: I've given seafood so many tries. Even tried eel once. Still not a fan of seafood, fishy flavors are ick. Although relatively recently I've retried brussel sprouts and I did end up liking those.
@Another Movie Addict: Generally, if I don't like the way something smells, then I don't like how it tastes. This is true for sea food. It never smelled very good to me, so I couldn't stand eating it. I haven't tried it in a veeeery long time, so I wanna see if that's different now!
