Might be quitting. Idk if it's forever or if i'll come back a few months later.
Feel like I've been burned a lot on this site that i just...don't feel I've ever been appreciated here.
so often times this place makes me feel more depressed or down.
And just overall don't think i have a place here anymore.

This topic is not to grab attention or anything like that.
If you want to contact me, I do have discord, however, I will only add those who will contact me
as in my life i'm going through something very difficult with my mother. so I only want to add people who will genuinely be there for me.

I took a break from avatar sites for about two years myself, and even before that I wasn't very active for awhile. Taking breaks from things can be good, and if the break turns out to be permanent then, well, there's probably a reason for that. I've taken breaks from several things. Some I went back to and enjoyed again and others I never enjoyed as much as I did originally. Hope you enjoy your time away, and I'll welcome you back if you return assuming that I'm still here then~

@Totalanimefan: I only hang out in art forum or hangouts.
Other than that I don't go anywhere.
But i closed all my art threads as i don't think anyone really liked my art.
So without art I feel very lost and overall didn't feel my art was appreciated at all. :vanora_sweat:
Besides those forums i don't really have any other interest. as I am not a talkative person and have much to talk about.

@Totalanimefan: Lurker doesn't really make me happy
but my threads just never are active lol.

Some threads in art or active since i often see them but
mine just didn't work out i suppose.
And just didn't feel like anything i did was good enough or people liked what i made, etc.
So it wasn't super encouraging so i often thought about quitting art in general. :vanora_sweat:

But hopefully this break will help me. and maybe one day i'll feel like i can return.

I'm planning to get a job vey soon, and have bridal shower
and wedding to attend in march and april and possibly a concert in June.
So hopefully I have much to do.

@MoodyBats: It’s sad to hear you’re leaving, and because people haven’t been kind to you on here. ): I’m glad you’re not giving your stuff away and leaving the door open to come back though.
The art forum is suuuuuper slow, and the ones that seem to have the most activity have people chatting in them. I haven’t looked on there for awhile because it was slow. x__x
You shouldn’t get discouraged by what you think people feel about your art though. I’m sure there are peeps who think it’s awesome, but just like to lurk or are shy. ^^;
I hope to see you again on here one day~

I'm sorry to see you go. I know I'm not the most active person on the forums but I enjoyed conversing with you the times that I did. I do understand though that mental health is very important and you should do what you need to do to feel better. If this place is getting you down, then taking a break is a good idea.

For what it's worth, I think your art is cool

I hope you keep drawing, if only for yourself. If not, I hope you find something that you enjoy that you can feel confident in.
