"I don't know." Zeke responded.

"I'm half archangel, but even I don't know what to say here." he admitted to her.

"Already this seems to have gone too far, and we've lost too much already." he continued, before kneeling down and hugging Lunet.

'The hell were you thinking about all this, Hazel!?' he then thought, getting angry at the woman.

"Lunet... I... I can't fix this, and you know it." he went on.

"I wish I knew how to fix all this, but I don't." he lamented.

"I'm so sorry." was all he managed to finish with.

Lunet returned the embrace, but didn't say anything. She didn't really know what to say. There was too much going through her head, and she couldn't quite make sense of any of it for the moment.

With her arms around him though, he heard it quite clearly, nevermind suddenly knowing the answer to that, when she snapped her fingers again, this time he felt the mana, though.

He knew how to fix it, but also knew it wouldn't be easy.

And what it was that had happened to Hal for the moment, as well.

Zeke's eyes widened when this all happened.

"I..." he stammered.

"Lunet, I..." he said, trailing off some.

"Lunet, your father isn't dead." he told her.

"He's... he's technically still here. Just as... mana inside you." he went on.

"There's... there's a chance that he can come back." he said further.

"...I also know how to fix all this." he continued.

"......and it won't be easy, or pretty."

Angela was silent for a moment before jus tsighing.

"All right." She started.

"Zeke, Lunet, obviously we need to talk." She continued.

"Come. My office is open." She added before heading off toward the room in question, expecting the other two to follow. Lunet stepped back from Zeke with a light sigh, and a nod, b efore following her.

Zeke said nothing, and merely followed as well.

They all entered Angela's office, and Zeke sighed.

"All right." he said.

"Angela, there's a lot to say." he commented.

"And yes, we need to talk." he muttered.

"It won't be pleasant."

Angela leaned against her desk before sighing.

"Then talk." She told him.

"If this is something that needs to be said and/or heard, then say it so we can hear it." She added before sighing lightly.

"I'd rather not keep Lunet here longer than she has to be kept here, honestly." She added after a moment or two.

"I... I'll be all right, Angela..." Lunet said in a quiet voice.

"Hal's not dead." Zeke told her.

"Being one made of mana, his consciousness resides within said mana, which now resides in Lunet's body." he explained.

"So he's not dead. Just in a different form, essentially." he went on.

"...I also learned how to fix this situation." he continued.

"It'll take a toll on Lunet, though." he mumbled.

"As Hazel said, we need a massive outburst of mana."

"I'll do anything..." Lunet said.

"I just... I will. Whatever it takes." She continued.

"Just tell me how to fix this. If I have his mana for the moment, then tell me how to fix it. I don't care if it kills me." She paused before biting her lip, knowing that wouldn't be taken the best, overall.

"What? That wouldn't be what Hal would want." Angela said. "Are you ---"

"Yes I'm sure. This Unit is more important than the life of one blind teen." Lunet interrupted.

"If it kills me, but he's back, then I'll do it. This place can't run without him, after all."

Zeke was silent, and just pinched the bridge of his nose.

"You need to release all that mana in one controlled burst." he told her.

"...." he was then silent, before pausing.

"Wait..." he said.

"Yes, that will deal with it here in the Unit... but we'll need to also track down others outside the Unit that have potentially contracted it." he realised.

"Regardless, that will do it for the Unit." he said.

"Strong enough mana will essentially override the mana-virus inside everyone."

Lunet was silent for a moment before nodding.

"Now wait a moment." Angela said.

"How the hell would we tend to everyone? It'd be better to do it all in one fell swoop. If this is going to take a toll on Lunet, and we don't know what's going to happen regarding Hal, then we need to do it all at once." Lunet, meanwhile, just sighed.

"Look... if the mana I have for the moment is Dad's... then you know how it works." was all she said. There was weight to her voice, but acceptance.

Zeke just crossed his arms over his chest.

"I know." he replied.

"This is a shit situation." he commented.

"And there doesn't seem to be any 'happy' way out of it." he went on.

"More suffering for the sake of suffering, it seems." he lamented.

"But... I've told you what I know." he then said.

"....yeah." he finished, heaviness to his tone as well, now.

Angela just sighed before looking to Lunet.

"Are you ready?" She asked the teen. Lunet nodded.

". . . I wish that all those affected would be saved, and that this infection hadn't happened." Angela said. Lunet just took a breath before bringing her hands up, together. It wasn't hard to tell that she was focusing, hard, on this, trying to direct the mana.

Everything around them seemed to shift and distort, before both Angela and Zeke were able to watch everything literally rewind. It was picking up speed, as well. An extreme amount, a dizzying amount. By the time it finished, Lunet collapsed while the other two were probably fighting to get their heads on straight.

Zeke had almost fallen over, but managed to keep himself upright.

"Oh... oh, dear." he said.

"That was... that was rush, to understate it." he muttered.

"Ah...!" he then exclaimed, looking at Lunet.

"Lunet!" he said.

"Lunet, are you all right!?" he asked, kneeling down close to her.

Angela had found herself against her desk, barely able to see straight for a moment.

". . . that... I don't..." She started, shaking her head to try and clear.

As Zeke was checking on Lunet (who was unresponsive for the moment), Angela made her way to the window of her office and jsut looked out at the empty room.

"It... it was so busy..." She said quietly before pausing and looking to Zeke.

"We need to figure out WHERE that fucking virus came from." She then said after a moment or two.

"I think Lunet managed to rewind time. I'm not sure to what extent, because I know I have recollections of everything that happened, but I don't know if anyone outside of thsi room will." She continued.

"Do you have anything to go off of for how to find the source?"

"I..." he stammered.

"I think so?" he said.

"Part of me wants to say... uh... Chloe?" he went on, clearly confused.

"Yeah, Chloe." he said further.

He then paused again, and looked panicked.

"Someone's going to infect her!" he exclaimed.

"They're the one all this starts from!"

"I'll take care of Lunet. You? You go find the damned robot and STOP this before it happens again." Angela half barked.

"Seriously. Let's not have this second chance be a waste. I would rather NOT have it that it happens again. I can't lose Liv... I just... I can't.." Her voice faltered a bit at the end, but it wasn't surprising.

"Please... for the sake of our daughter, please... stop this before it happens again."

He made his way to someone who was holding a USB drive, and stopped them.

"Stop right there." he said.

"Going to want to see what's on that drive, there." he commented.

"...." they were silent for a moment, before bolting.

"HEY!" Zeke yelled.

"SOMEONE STOP HIM!" he shouted, giving chase.

They tore through the halls of the Unit, eluding everyone for longer than Zeke would have liked. It wasn't until he saw a specific blonde walk past him down the hall that he was racing down, and could feel the darkness coming from her.

More specifically, the carnal desire that was emanating and would likely fell a weaker man..

"Hey Stephen!" She called out in a singsong voice.

"C'mere! I need to talk to you for a moment, cutie!"

The one in question, Stephen, looked towards the woman.

He looked like he wanted to turn and run from her... but he didn't.

Instead, he found himself simply staring at her. Her body, her curves... and he found himself lulled by her tone.

He then started to slowly make his way over, a dreamy expression on his face.

Zeke, meanwhile, just decided to hang back.

'Hoooooo boy...' he thought.

Zeke, being what he was, was able to see as Stephen near her, the tendrils of her mana reaching an piercing through him more.... and more... and more.

By the time he reached her, there would be absolutely no chance of him regaining himself for a few hours, if not longer.

"Ah, Ezekiel... what did you want him for?" She asked with a smirk to her voice.

"You. Do whatever he tells you." She ordered the one she now had as she motioned to Zeke.
