- So I do something strange. I answer the call and mute myself then go back and block it just so that I can be sure it’s a scam call. If it is, they won’t answer right away and are waiting for you to speak to they can play the automated message.
They usually hang up after a few seconds. It has not not worked for months. I’m also getting less spam calls than I used to in recent weeks.
