Forums Serious Talk Etsy now forces Offsite Ads on shops and asks ad fee

Yeh well Etsy is now introducing a new advertisement scheme. With the new Offsite Ads program, Etsy will advertise sellers' products on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Bing. However if someone clicks on those ad's and then buys a product the shop owner needs to pay an advertising fee to Etsy (15%).

    can't win with any of these e-commerce platforms as a small indie artist :')
    i've considered using etsy in the past but i'm really glad i didn't.
