@sunny: That's the truth. It seems like the whole world has devolved into chaos. Makes me scared going anywhere; I have no idea what I'll run into out there.
@sunny: Not yet, but people are definitely starting to impose their own self-quarantining. My work has seen a lot less business over the past two weeks, and it's getting worse. I imagine it won't be too much longer before we've got a curfew and periodic checkpoints.

@Autus: We're in the same boat. Today the government put bans on gatherings of 50 or more people, pubs and bars are shut, and people are working from home if they possibly can. We are personally going into self-quarantine because both me and my mum have underlying health conditions.
@sunny: I absolutely understand that. The whole world is starting to shut down and isolate itself. I'm hoping that we'll be able to put this behind us sooner rather than later. Probably just wishful thinking, but I'm keeping out hope for it. Please be safe!!
@Autus: I hope you and your family are safe too! They told us on the news today that it could last for months or more. As in, they are still expecting to be having trouble in May. That seems so far away :(

@sunny: I went to the store today to see if I could scrounge up any groceries and the store was almost completely empty. ...Except for the clam chowder. Even in an apocalypse, nobody wants clam chowder😂

@sunny: I have absolutely no idea, but it's freaking me out. Some woman got escorted out by the police because she shoved some other lady down to get the last of something off a shelf, another lady had her two teen kids with her and they each had a shopping cart piled high with groceries. It had to be at least $300-400USD in goods. People are in full panic mode.

@sunny: Oh yeah, I'm stocked up! Got enough groceries to last almost two months. Snacks are gonna be the hard part, I may run out of those sooner rather than later.
@Autus: wow 2 months? You are prepared! That's good to hear. We have enough for maybe a week, maybe 2, idk......
@sunny: Yeah! It's just me and my cat so not a lot of mouths to feed, plus I can do meal preparation which will extend my food out longer. All in all, no risk of us going hungry for a long while. I'm glad to hear that y'all at leave have enough for a little while! Some people are eating day-to-day and with the huge grocery shortage, it's gonna be hard
@Autus: yeah exactly. There needs to be something done officially, people are going to run out very soon. There will be nothing in the shops to buy :/ what is your cat's name?
@sunny: Hopefully there'll be some type of relief soon. We desperately need it. My cat's name is Simba, but he had the nickname Satan when he was little; he was a real menace lmao
