@Shadami: I haven't played for a while but I did create two new sims earlier this week.

@Wildfire: Good question. I like to create household and give them a happily ever after. It's an escape from real live.
@vengeance: And you obviously enjoy creating the characters down to their little details. Do the characters you create then go in to the game and interact with each other (Sims is just not a game I got in to for whatever reason, so my knowledge of it is limited)
I like telling stories with them. And it's my escape to create Sims with clothes I like and can't wear and build houses since I dropped out of architecture when the teacher and I clashed.
@Shadami: I like the finished avatar, BTW. You've decided to keep the whiskers, I see... and you've chosen interesting background(s) too - what items are they??
And all of the creative challenges people have come up with and the wonderful parts of the community drew me in and kept me in xD
Flexing my creativity and storytelling with challenges is my guilty pleasure. It's why I love DND so much

@Wildfire: Some do but a lot of characters also never make it past creation XD And yes I have them to go out and do stuff, getting them a job etc.
@Shadami: Yeah, ok, I completely get that. I can see the appeal. I like doing those kinds of things too, usually.
Amazingly the background is just that "what a farm" or something. Let me go look lmao. I forget. But it's just one and it was so contradictive to the Avi I loved it. I already had the foreground inked virus or whatever

When I'm in a Sims mood I play for days. Many of my save files have 100 hours + playtime... Granted some is the game idiling on pause while I do stuff xD
@Wildfire: Sometimes XD One sim though it would to swim while it was freezing outside.
I once had a sim look directly where my camera was positioned and the autonomously proposed to his boyfriend when I wasn't ready for them to be married yet xD
@Shadami: i was just playing with "virus" in my wardrobe. It is an interesting item.
That sounds like what I do when I get a chance to play an actual game - I go through a period of a couple days, usually, where it's almost all I do (other than the basic "keep the house going" things). Then I get back to RL and don't play again... sometimes for months!

Everytime I open it though I'm happy. XD I just don't have the time to play and keep up with other things
Right now I'm on a wow fix because someone gave me 9 months of play time to thank my husband for his brief time in the aervice
