I'm trying to keep the thread going but... I am but one man ;w;

I like coloring for the most part - I pick local colors first, then color my lines, then do basic cell shading using a directly in the middle of the base + line colors, then I go from there, using 50% opacity brush to get in between colors :3
My main problem is sometimes I use colors that are too desaturated =v=;;

I make a new layer per color/group??? So if I'm rendering lines to be less sharp, I'll do that on a layer, and if I wanted to build up values/shading/lighting, I'll split those into 1 or 2 colors per layer. I think this is a habit from when I was in graphic design school >w>

Also I chopped out some old layers and stuck em in another file, 'cause Krita was complaining at me lol

@Jolly: It helps to train your peripheral vision!! That way things can't sneak up on you as bad :3

Plus, my style of painting is...weird - I start with cell shading and then soften it out with more cell shading in between the tones tones?? It's weird lol

It is!! I can isolate layers, masks, groups, etc - so all I see is what I'm isolating :D

I can isolate layers and tab through them with the page up and page down keys :3

I had like, 150 layers??? >w>;;
Plus my canvas size is ridiculous, I think it's 3500x2560px

@Jolly: Me too!! I'm usually zoned into a task, but just enough that I'm still pretty aware of my surroundings/where other people are!! Best of both worlds :3

I don't tend to startle easy thankfully >w> I'm good at telling where ppl are based on sound - tho the exception is when I'm asleep. I startle awake VERY easily hahaha
