@Unicorn: The octopus totally is unless you like eating rubber.
Oh man, if my steaks aren't still mooing, they're too done. I refuse to eat a steak more done than medium rare. Anything else is just dry.

My issue with asparagus is most likely that I've never had it made correctly. It's always mush.
@Unicorn: Sushi! I like all but octopus and that's mostly because it's really rubbery when raw.

My list of foods I won't eat is pretty much super short. Raw Octopus, Asparagus, and there may be some other random things. But that's about it. If I don't know if I like it, I will taste it twice. Once to say I tasted it, and then twice to actually taste it.
