I love birds, but can't have a pet bird at my current apartment. (I mean, the landlord would allow it, but I don't have the space/money for one right now.) I've taken to feeding the local crows, for better or for worse.

My apartment is full of shady characters who kinda low-key threaten me on the regular, so I don't wanna go outside or draw attention to myself. So instead I toss peanuts from my 3rd story window and the crows swoop down into the parking lot. There's three right now; one of them is very brave and gets most of the peanuts, but the other 2 are a little scared of the parking lot so they usually only get one peanut each before the brave one eats them all. Sometimes we're visited by another murder and I've had 6 crows total at once, but that's rare.

They've started to sit on the railing outside my window in the morning and caw at me until I throw peanuts. I feel so loved.

That really sucks and I'm sorry to hear about it. I had a similar thing on another avatar site some years ago when my friend and I were real active in a hangout, and it appeared we were friends with everyone in the hangout, but the hangout creator/mod suddenly kicked us out? Like OK thanks????

We never did get that one resolved but I hope you can work through yours, since it sounds like you like the other members of the server. Like some others have said, since the person in question is a leader you might want to reach out to them and check in if it's bugging you to that extent. Another option is to just accept it and enjoy the other members who do interact with you :)

Most of what I'd say has already been said here. I think it's important to not dwell on it as much as you can, and do your best to live in the moment and accept the loss. I know that's easier said than done, and I hope I don't sound like a jerk. That's just how I've coached myself through similar issues.

I've had instances where friends have shut me out for a few years, and then come back with an apology and explained that there was Some Weird Shit going down in their life that made them freak out. I've also been the friend to shut people out and randomly show back up. Friends don't always come back, but there's a chance that they can.

Overall I'm really sorry this happened to you, and with such magnitude. Wishing you healing.

I'm wondering if there's a way to stop the header from being animated. I'm talking about the icons at the top of the page for Jigsaw, the Runway, and current events.

The icons are cute and I do like having them there, but the animations are really distracting for me personally. I don't know if there's an option to turn off the animation so it's still icons, or remove them altogether? Maybe as an accessibility setting?

Does the same train of thought apply to cat hair, or are we fairly certain cat hair (especially once fallen off the actual cat) cannot gain sentience?
