I want to get caught up on the lore too so I’ll check out the archive. I was hoping for something like a wiki page with a full history, so I’m glad to see it’s on the devs’s radar!

I was going to the shops to buy event items, but when I got to the list I automatically clicked on Vycs Modz instead because I’m in there All! The! Time! lmao. I have mods in real life and used to be training to be a piercer before that fell through so I guess I’m biased

What’s your favorite shop here? Do you visit a particular commons shop more than others? Do you have a favorite shop keeper? And of course, why?

I had some anxiety about joining Voltra since I’d had iffy experiences on other sites, but I’m really glad I did!

@star2000shadow: it really is. I’m pretty crazy about it and mean to write up a big old feedback post. Feels like the team here took all my favorite things about my old avatar sites and put it all together without attracting a lot of the negativity that was on those other older sites.

@Tsundererra: ahhh yeah that sucks, I’m sorry. I get my insurance through work and it’s not very good, but at least I just click a few buttons and then don’t have to think about it again.

One of the things I love about this site is how involved and transparent the staff are with users. Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions!

I’ve seen something like charity bins on other sites, where you basically dump off your items and then you can pull items that have been dumped by others. Maybe something where you can draw one item per day, but no limit on how many you can dump into the bin? That way there’s always inventory for people to take and items aren’t being deleted into the ether for no one to use.

Maybe this is obvious and how it’s usually done. I live under a rock.
