Layton is beginning to think. This may be another major mystery to be solved. And solving puzzles is his specialty. Layton wasn't sure why she was speaking as if they had a choice to come here but he was never going to turn down a challenge in regards to puzzles and mysteries. It's part of what he does. Monika has his full attention still.

"I find it hard to believe there wouldn't be a kitchen. This does appear to be an apartment complex of some sort. If at one point people stayed here, then there would be all the necessities to live in this place correct? Kitchen, bathroom, apartments..."

"Getting our bearings sounds like a good plan. Maybe we can find a map of the building or even at least get an idea of where things are. That way things would be more convenient until we get out. That and we wouldn't have to resort to killing each other for survival."

Apollo kinda speaks up when Kokichi asked Luna if anyone has come in.
"No one new has come in since you left. I'm assuming that the white haired girl you are talking about was with you before? Mr.Top hat and I tried to see about opening some of these barred windows and doors but it doesn't seem like they are budging any. What a waste of time."
