@Tsundererra: Honestly, I'm jealous of people who didn't know it. I still get on google and just search for the site so I can look at the layout and avatars. Sometimes I dream about it. =/
It ended because of a lot of drama that went on between the owners, from what I recall. They split up and it caused a lot of problems. Especially with the financial side of things.
There were some people who were trying to reach out to either of them to see if any of us could buy the rights to the the domain and art and everything; but to my knowledge there was no response.
It even took the staff by surprise. Most of them had no idea that anything was going down until just before the rest of us. They even told us we were going to get until a certain date to save everything and reach out to everyone we wanted to keep in contact with, but it wasn't followed through on and they shut the site down shortly after that promise.

@Tsundererra: They did some advertisement on Tektek, back when that was a thing. Got a lot of attraction that way. I think the site was up for like six and a half years? So Voltra still has plenty of time to catch up.
I loved it so much, though. During events there was always so much activity that it was impossible to keep up with it all. But it always made earning currency so easy. ;c

@Tsundererra: Eh. It was bigger than Voltra. But I know a lot of people have grown away from avi sites and just might have created an account and not come back. Or might not remember me because I was missing from Ernya for like a year before it closed down. :C

I can't even say hi to people I know from Ernya. They have to say hi first or I'm just like nah, that's not them or they don't remember me. Can't embarrass myself that much.

She really is so special.
When I got on here for the first time in a long while, last month, she reached out and let me know how happy she was to see me back.

Christmas is going well. Boyfriend and I are enjoying the day off by playing video games and drawing and just spending time together. No presents. Just enjoying life. :]

@Tsundererra: that's fair. She is magical.

@Chrysothemis: Feels. I never manage to join any hangout threads, unless I know the creater of the thread very well. I mostly stick to small threads or art shops.
