We had a group call with the family today too. (I dozed off lol, for like an hour this is why I can’t sleep at night xD)

It’s been the first Mother’s Day without my grandmother (rip <3) so they went to the grave site in their masks and did a zoom for us who weren’t there in person.

@lullaby: AMAZING. I wasn’t expecting it to be soooo damn good. And the company was amazing too. I live with my best friend and her mother and sister. We met in college and became really close and they allowed me to stay one summer while I was in summer school. And then when I graduated I moved in to work since I got a big person job xD

It’s really been amazing they are my second family

@lullaby: my weekend has been good. So much happened during it! Today we went and ate seafood for my friend’s grandmother for Mother’s Day. It’s was only 6 of us so I wasn’t too worried

@lullaby: it’s okay I’m not complaining. I’m blessed, I didn’t get laid off my job so I’ve still been working.

@lullaby: just in general, the company was founding to help those in need and lower income find the resources they need so like food pantries and help with utility bills. It’s a rewarding job most days. COVID-19 hit us hard.

@DevilkinBoi: yeah that’s not cool at all. Are you the youngest? Maybe she feels like she’s losing her daughter but she’s gonna have to get with the program. I dunno, it seems like she is really tethered to this idea of you not leaving her and obsessing over your hair. I hope it’s not so stressful for you. That’s a lot.

Ah gotcha. I mean yeah a theme would be nice.

Yeah that sucks. I’m sorry. I’d kinda be bummed if I lost the bonus but you’re right it’s not completely the end of the world at all
