The twins made sure that they weren't forgetting anything and got into the car. "Alice isn't feeling well?" Kaoru said, starting to drive towards the school. "Yeah, so she's just going to stay home for the day. She said she'd call or text if she needed anything though." Hikaru answered.

Mitsukuni ran off to brush his teeth and then grabbed his things. He said goodbye to his parents and walked to the front door, opening to look outside and see if Takashi had arrived yet or not.
---
Haruhi was silent on her way to school. She took a public bus since she wasn't as financially set as her fellow club members. The bus was pretty empty today though, thankfully.

"Well what do you think Mads? You think he likes his gifts?" Clint asked. Nimbus was busy tackling the scratching post again. So much so, that his little nail got stuck and he couldn't pull free.

"Allen, if fighting is the only way then I think we should give this a try. I'm not a smart person, and I don't know anything about vampires but I think that maybe if we can defeat the council...then maybe you'll no longer have people chasing after you. You'll no longer be in so much danger." Kaneko said. She knew her father would still send men after her but they were the least of her worries right now. "I think we should give Zero a chance. We don't know him...but if he wants to help us, then we should give him the chance to do so. Just a chance Allen, that's all I'm asking for and if he doesn't do as he says he will, then we don't have to continue listening to him and you and I will figure things out on our own. I will respect whatever choice you make." Maybe Zero really did mean well. Maybe if the three of them worked together then they would have an actual chance. What did they have to lose?

@deaa: I'm in the same boat. I don't know why people are hating. He seems like a good guy and all. Not to mention he a cutie but that's besides the point. lmao I'd like to know why some people don't like him. D:

Kaneko listened carefully. She was silent, blowing on her tea and occasionally taking a small sip and relishing the taste of the ginger and the peach mingling in her mouth. From what she gathered, hiding from the council was pointless. They would find them eventually but what would happen then? Would they really kill Allen? Well now, she wasn't just going to sit back and allow that. Her eyes went to the gun resting on the counter. It wasn't loaded but that was not even a worthy weapon. Maybe a good weapon against lesser threats, but not some high and mighty vampire council. That weapon would tickle them at most. She looked to Allen, a look of clear worry on her face then looked at Zero. "So then, what would you suggest we do?" She asked. "If hiding is pointless like you said, the only other option I can think of is to fight back but I don't think that's exactly wise either."

"Oh really? Well that's wonderful news! I'm so glad you're feeling better Allen. I was very worried when you were ill. I'm glad that the tea worked though." She'd have to remember to make it again whenever he got sick again. Herbal remedies really did work, and they weren't toxic like regular medicine. Since only she and Zero would have tea, she decided to make some peach with ginger tea. Kaneko smiled when she heard Zero, she knew he was only messing around.
Grabbing two mugs, Kaneko added a small spoonful of sugar into each mug and when the water was ready, she carefully poured it into the mugs. Gently she set a teabag into each and stirred the water with a spoon then let the teabag steep for a few minutes before throwing the teabags out and placing the spoon in the sink. She walked to the table where she set both mugs down. "Careful, it's hot." She said quietly and looked at both Zero and Allen, worried about what would happen now.

Kaneko smiled and silently followed Allen inside their warm home. "Are you cold Allen? How are you feeling today?" She asked, quickly pressing a hand to his forehead. He didn't feel warm anymore. Was he better? Just in case, she walked into the kitchen to make him the herbal tea that helped with the sickness. "I'll make you some tea. Zero would you like some tea as well?" She asked, figuring she'd make a separate batch for Zero and herself.

Kaneko frowned but she understood Allen's intentions. He just wanted to keep her safe. After everything they've been through, she didn't blame him for not fully trusting Zero. She herself didn't fully trust him. Listening to what Zero was saying, she looked around but didn't see anyone. Still, just because she couldn't see someone didn't mean no one was there. Listening. "W-why don't we go inside and have this conversation inside?" She suggested, standing to her feet and holding Allen's hand softly in hers. "We should at least hear him out Allen." She suggested quietly.
There would be no harm done in just listening to the man. Just not outside, it was cold and maybe someone was watching and listening to them. If they were going to discuss some sort of plan, she wanted it to be a very private matter. Zero had mentioned the council and Kaneko immediately thought the vampire council which was obviously very dangerous. She was going to need to protect Allen from them too, she couldn't stand around and be useless.

One of every ten? That was very bad. The numbers did not lie. Regardless, even if that weren't the case she knew that Allen would not want to do that. It was okay though. As long as she was able to be with him for however long she was able to, she'd be the happiest girl. Kaneko flinched, as if she could already feel the pain of the mentioned vampire venom.
"Zero!" Kaneko heard Allen's voice and turned to look in the direction it had come from, but her smile vanished when she saw Allen tackle Zero into the cold snow. "A-Allen!" She gasped, quickly kneeling and trying to pry Allen away from Zero. "Allen, don't!"

@nebula: Hello! I did. Well some guy was flirting with me and making me uncomfortable but other than that it was a good day.
I'm just tired now. Trying to finish an assignment.
Oh my gosh, I don't know how people can do that. I have 3 classes and I feel like I'm swamped. I can't imagine adding any kind of work on top of that! xD

Zero had a point, her father even though he was in prison still had people doing his work. People who would stop at nothing to take her back home and watch over her while her father stayed in prison for however long that was. People would still look for Allen because of what he did to that man. She felt fear creep into her skin at the memory. The way that man died. The way his clothes were left in only a pile. Kaneko shook her head, wanting to shake the memory away. "It's okay. Allen would not allow it either." She answered, a small smile on her face. She had accepted that, and she was still okay with it. She would do everything she could to keep Allen safe until the day that she died. Afterwards, well...she didn't know what would happen after she was gone. "So..being turned will kill me? Is it really that dangerous?"

"These people that are looking for us..." Kaneko started, looking straight ahead. "Are they looking for us just to get to me? Is Allen in danger just because of me being..well..you know. A human?" She asked, honestly wanting to know. If she were a vampire, would people still try to look for Allen? If that was true, then that would mean she'd need to be...turned? But, didn't that hurt?
