I dont see why i need to go to this funeral. i didnt know the woman, i only go to support you. Whyd they make you a pallbearer? arent there enough other men in the family? I hate funerals, and i hate going to ones of people i didnt know, or i wasnt close with. i know i have to go but i really dont want to. its not a part of public i want to be seen. i dont know anyone there. ive met your side of the family but once. i know i have to go...but please dont make me...

He cought his breath and nodded.
"I just gotta add Aly's number then." he got up to go to bed.
"But...i may have to send you on friday if this doesnt clear up by then" he nodded and went upstairs.
"Ryker im sorry. its my fault i got sick this time...i just...i got lost in her...well everything...i didnt want you to worry...you were kinda skittish that day..." he offered an apologetic smile before going to bed before waiting for an answer.
He lay in bed and thought about things. Maybe it was time to hire a live in nurse...or maybe one that came for a few hours and then left...maybe he didnt need a nurse ALL the time...yet.
"I just gotta add Aly's number then." he got up to go to bed.
"But...i may have to send you on friday if this doesnt clear up by then" he nodded and went upstairs.

His eyes lit up and he hugged ryker tighter.
"This is perfect!" he had just been given Aly's number and he had planned to get one tomorrow.
"Ryker...this had to cost a fortune...you didnt have to get such an advanced phone..." he wiped tears from his eyes.
"Im...im gonna set it up tomorrow. i need sleep..." he smiled. he went into another coughing fit forcing him to sit down.

He chuckled. "Yeah its...not good. of course god forbid i forget my meds..." he went cold and serious as if remembering something worse than the war.
"People...end up dead..." he took a drink of coffee. he sighed and shook his head. "Sorry i tend to get...heavy sometimes. My brother says im too dark sometimes" he offered a smile.

He blinked. "My nature...?" he actually tilted his head. "What...on earth do you mean by that?" no one had ever said they believed him.
"You should see me when i do actually get angry" he laughed. He had a cup of coffee. He kind of survived on coffee, not that that was healthy.

"On the floor? about an hour...i think...im okay ryker i just have a fever...i just...ryker please i just need to cool off...and sleep..." he got up and smiled.

He smiled and handed him the dinner. "I already ate" he lied with a convincing smile. "But you eat." he sat next to the bed. "If you start to get tired or feel faint, you let me know." he nodded.
"And yeah the journal ive been told is a good read. no one believes me when i tell them i wrote it. no one believes i have such anger issues" he shrugged

"Har har" he smirked. "The guest house was really dusty." he put some clothes on the bed. "I see youve been reading the journal" he knew the journal had some pretty dark stuff in it. He had been in a pretty dark place when he wrote it.
"If you are feeling up to standing and walking, we can take a trip to the guest house" he smiled. he just really liked kaito for some reason

He was laying on the floor curled up. The floor was cool against his skin that felt like it was on fire.
"Hey..." he gave a smile, but he felt like garbage.
He coughed and groaned curling up.
"I think i need a cold bath...maybe an ice bath. i feel like im on fire..." he slowly sat up holding his head

"I uh..." he giggled goofily and kissed her hand.
"Perfect reason to go get a phone then" he was also pretty flustered himself with the praise he was getting.
This was different from what he COULD remember of his upbringing. it wasnt hollow. It was genuine and sweet and full of heart.
He took the paper and waved as he left to go home.
He entered the house and allowed himself to relax, which resulted in a lot of coughing.
