He blushed and looked up at Ryker.

"I know that i..." he sighed.

"Its like a ghost that keeps haunting me. Everytime i start to feel free, in the back of my head there's her voice. Nagging away." he rubbed his eyes feeling tired.

"Every time i think about the river, i can hear her telling me its my fault for falling in in the first place. My fault for not being able to swim. My fault because im too weak to learn..."

@Nyuu: ill buy both of them

He buried his face into rykers shoulder.

"I should be over it...my mother...wouldnt accpet such weak behavior.." he sobbed.

He began coughing as he still had a cold but he just couldnt stop crying.

He gave up. He was too tired.

"Im sorry...its just...it makes me so...its so draining and i...i cant..." he began to sob.

He felt so stupid for letting it get to him...still. It had been two days. he should be over it...right?

He looked at Ryker. Sometimes he wondered why he was so nice. His own mother wasnt nice.

He got up and fell to his knees feeling tired.

"Im sorry...im sorry im okay..." he cried desperate to not worry Ryker.

He Got up tears in his eyes as his leg shook while he walked.

"Im okay...just...thinking back on the river...makes me faint..." he shivered.

"I dunno an ice dragon?" he looked up.

"Ice dragons can do all kinds of things" he sighed. He wanted to lay down now.

"Its like with the river...the ice just kinda...came suddenly..." he shuddered and looked up.

"Maybe someone has it out for me..." he sighed

The thought of the river made him feel faint. He stumbled holding his head.

"Yeah im by myself why?" he tilted his head. Sur ehe was alone but he was capable. He gave something of an indignant pout. He knew he was young but he didnt want to be underestimated

"Very!" he smiled.

He trot along with Ryker as it began to snow.

"Does the weather seem a little...off to you? Should it be this cold yet?" he frowned holding up a hand to catch snowflakes.

He nodded happily.

"Yeah!" he grinned. "Your like the favorite big brother!"

He hugged ryker tight. "Youve kept me safe when things attacked us. You dove into freezing waters to save my life. You enjoyed my cake! You...you helped me get better clothes...you fed me steak!!"

He stopped walking and looked at ryker. "Why wouldnt i see you as positive?"

@Unicorn: so whats going on now?

"I...wish i didnt have one..i...i mean!" he put up his hands in defense.

"i dont mean you! your like...the family i should have had!! not...i mean...i...i was talking about...her..." he felt like an idiot and just looked to the ground.

He wanted to disappear or..something.

He nodded.

"Home was to the north..." he finally said.

"Ryker...are you glad you dont have family?" he asked suddenly.
