@Kozi: Last year on pirate Christmas weekend I was a pirate pixie. Had all my pirate stuff on & then had small pixie wings to all to it. My best friend looked sort of like a siren so I kept telling people she was part of my crew. One of my costumes is very autumn themed, another is a lot of green & blue, the pirate one is red, black & white & had 2 strands of light up skulls hanging in the tutu. Still need to decide what I'm gonna wear this year. One of my corsets wouldn't fit last year, I had lost enough weight that it was too big. Sadly I really like that corset it is an unusual color of leather, it is almost a butter yellow & deer skin if I remember correctly. The place I bought it from hasn't been to our Renaissance Festival in at least 5 years now.
I always hate when some of the vendors we really like stop showing up, we got to asking about one silversmith who used to come & found out he was now doing work for a television series. It made me happy that the year before he stopped coming I had gotten my husband a torc from him.

@Galaxy: No I haven't thought about taking any pictures yet. I've not gotten a lot of projects finished yet. So far it is just 2 hats, a scarf & one arm warmer. Then I have about 5 other projects in progress.

@Kozi: Years have been spent working on my costumes. At this point I have several different ones, each year I try to add something new to it. Last year we went 4 times & I had different tutu's I wore each time & my husband had made me 2 new sets of wings. This year I have a couple of new bags I'm gonna carry. One is a cute little woven one that reminds me of an acorn, so I'm gonna add some leaves & flowers to it to make it look more like an acorn & sort of autumn. The other is flurry monster that I found at the thrift store last night. He is adorable.

@vengeance:That is great. I hope you enjoy your job. I've been worn out. Work has been picking up a lot already. I hate to see how busy we are by Christmas.

@Kozi: Knee socks always look so cute. I want a pair I can stand to wear. Really I should be working on my faerie costume for the Renaissance festival, but I'm just too tired to work on it today. We don't have netflix. :(

What makes no sense at all to me it that the job he is going to is gonna be less than 6 months. Why would you give up a steady job for a 6 month job. All I can figure out is the money must have been really good. He asked the boss to hold the job, but we have never been able to do that for anyone else who left. We had one who left & came back about a year later, but had to go through all the process to get hired again. Since it is corporate you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get hired.

Never really cared that much for the wet-n-wild nail polish personally.
@Kaderin Triste: If you have a Dollar Tree around you they have LA colors eyeshadow palettes & sometimes they have some nice colors of eyeliner.

@Kozi: Thanks, hugs are always appreciated. I'm not leaving the house if I can help it today. I've just been watching the first season of Sleepy Hollow to relax some & work on some knitting for a Christmas present. Did you find anything good at the Halloween store?

Tired, work was awful this week. Then in the middle of the week I found out my fill-in was leaving to go back to work he used to do. He is working one more day & that is it. I find it a bit annoying when people leave with so little notice. As slow as they are about hiring people it will probably be March before I get another fill-in.

You may have, but I don't remember it. Of course it sort of hard to get through some of the pings on there at times. Especially when it is one of the my friends pings.
