@Totalanimefan: My diet will be ruined this week, but who cares? xD I did lose two pounds, so I think a little spoiling for my birthday is fine.

Or just sweets. Or chocolate. It's my birthday! Lunch with the godfather as expected. Did joke about how if I wanted rice and beans, he would have taken me elsewhere(we went to a buffet place). Gave me $200 as my present. Used part of it to order my first binder, plus a game and some books. Tomorrow will be game day with my friend group, so I'm really looking forward to that. No idea if the family has anything planned(unless my brother's preparation of some pork chops is dinner).

I was diagnosed at around age 4 or so, I think. The two brothers before me also have the ADHD diagnosis(one is mostly hyperactive, the other mostly inattentive and me, I'm combined). I never had to take meds for it since I started on therapy as soon as I received my diagnosis. That said, some people still think having ADHD is being hyperactive as hell and bouncing off the walls as they say. Then there are those who insist that it's some crap doctors made up so Big Pharma can sell their fancy pills and etc. I remember a friend of my brother's telling me that ADHD was fake, that his brother was diagnosed, but was cured when he entered the military(and also by being smacked in the head apparently). Anyway, while yes, I've definitely calmed down(family used to call me Energizer, after the Energizer bunny), I do still struggle with concentration at times. If someone just doesn't catch my interest, I'm unlikely to focus on it. It doesn't have to be the most amazing thing in the world, but if it's taught or done in a way that catches my eye, then it's much easier for me to focus on it. Take reading. I absolutely hated reading as a kid. I remember back when the Harry Potter books came out, my family had to force me to sit through a reading of the first book, in Spanish no less(I hated everything in English as a kid). Now, I'm a total book worm. I still fidget, of course. I hate having to stay still for extended periods of time. But compared to how it was years ago, I'd like to say I've improved. Some people don't even believe me when I tell them I have ADHD.

Let's see.... my top three would be:

Manly Guys Doing Manly Things
Waifu introduced me to this one since Ganondorf is in it and I live for anything where Ganondorf is just trying to live a normal life. There are a bunch of other video game characters in the comics, so I really enjoyed it. It's pretty much "Manly Guys Doing Manly Things (MGDMT) is a comic about a temp agency to help "ludicrously macho guys" find work in the real world when they no longer have work as popular fiction characters." Shenanigans ensue.

A Tale of Two Rulers
This one, the creator of MGDMT was sick and she had guest creators make their own mini comics while she recovered. I'm not much for the Zelda/Ganondorf pairing, but the art for this comic is freaking gorgeous! I'm still hoping I can buy a physical copy or just an art piece from her at some point.

Lore Olympus
One of the few times Facebook ads actually sent me something relevant. Art looked interesting, so I checked it out. It's like a modernized retelling of the story of Hades and Persephone. Once I started reading it, I got hooked!
