on our way to vanlife ! watching and making sure he doesnt hurt himself. today we are working on the basic platform in our new 2020 ford connect.

we are three months shy of living in our van full-time. cutting our rent in half, getting solar, the van is already a wifi hotspot, and we already live a minimalistic lifestyle but stressing out on california prices >n <
this is a lifestyle choice, a choice a lot of have made - lots of negatives but also positives if you plan or are very familiar with your area OR if you are traveling. i dont recommend it for everyone.

i love naming my vehicles but having a difficult time naming this new baby. its a shinny gray - was thinking of a metal-like pokemon. we plan to put the name across the front cause the hubby wants to deck it out a tad more (car dudes xD)

i am so excited! we are so excited! :3

50% done - getting the top platform and the flooring ^^

haha i totally blanked that but instagram is so much cleaner and straight to the point. plus my older friends/ coworkers on fb this chain letters are meant to be sent to friends every other day. xD goodness those things are annoying.

thanks, hoping they get resolved soon cause if the fire hit structures again - i dont wanna be in smokey areas cause youre breathing in such bad chemicals and stuff. ;n ; we run away to the coast and hit the beach during these times.

we will be able to live off of one income and use the other to tackle debt, pay off the car, and save for a downpayment on land/ tiny house. ^^ youtube has been fueling me hahah

its been an idea that has been forefront of my brain for a year and half. i am highly fascinated by tiny homes. i live in a highly expensive area - bound the crash here soon, if not, definitely in time. we plan to live in the van for three years. both used to small places and are moreso minimalistic. hubby had been living in his car for years but had two full time jobs. so he is definitely used to it.

got our plan for everything ^^
hubby is building the basic frame tomorrow.
