Faust picks up Nala's ID to examine it closer. Satisfied he hands it back to her. He eyes Jazz's suspiciously though and scrutinizes it more. He honestly wasn't sure if he should be giving this person alcohol. Was he even completely sober when he walked into the pub? His behavior was kind of erratic. Though some people were naturally this way... He still did not feel comfortable giving this man alcohol. Was he even thirty-three? He didn't really look it. Faust narrowed his eyes a bit at Jazz. He wondered if he could hand him a plain Coke without whiskey and see if he'd notice.
Still holding Jazz's ID, he turns to Nala and says, "I can make one of our specialty drinks for you."
"And, Viceroy, can you take a look at this?" he asked, handing Viceroy the ID. Viceroy wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he could be unusually perceptive when it came to certain things.

Viceroy looked from the ID to Jazz scrutinizing both carefully.

"Ah, anything in particular then? I'd need to see ID," Faust says smiling at Nala, "... You have one, right?"

@Okios:
Question, by permanent you mean no time limit right? I was on a place where blocks had a 30 day expiration date. I did not like that system. I like it better when users have control over the block, like being able to turn it "on" and "off". (being able to block and unblock a person at will) Basically I'm saying that a block should be permanent unless the person who originally did the block decides for themselves that they want to unblock the person they blocked. I'm not sure if that's what you meant. ^ ^;
If it is then yeah, I agree. I do not want a timed block or the site deciding for itself how long the block should be. I want to be able to decide for myself how long the block should last by being able to block and unblock people at will on my own time.

Faust looks up from the tea he’s making for Luc when he hears Nala.
“What is it you want?”

Yes, please don’t spam this with things that don’t really have to do with blocking especially since I am not really fond of “liking/disliking posts” and “kudos” features. You can make your own thread, just please don’t start a conversation about it on my thread.

And, Raxton, if you don’t agree with this or you find this funny, then you can leave because that comment really just seems like you’re trolling. :/ Edit: Looks like you edited the post to something that doesn’t sound like you’re just trolling.

Finishing up on my computer because phone was dying.
The problem with just blurring posts is that it doesn't solve anything. Voltra has a functioning message system, trade system, and allows people to post on others profiles. If you just blur the posts then you're not actually blocking someone because they still can contact you, they still can access to you, which defeats the whole purpose and reason of a block. To block someone from having contact with you. Harassment is another reason why a block feature would be nice/needed. Here are just some examples of why "hiding" a person or completely blocking a person from having contact with you are better than blurring posts.
On another place, they had a block feature, but it still allowed people to post on your threads, well this became an issue quickly when some people who had gotten blocked by a couple people decided they didn't like being blocked. They came onto the threads made by the people who blocked them and decided to harass them. I'll omit some of the language, but they kept berating the people who blocked them with things like "Why the hell did you block me?!" and "How dare you block me!" and a few insults I will also omit due to vulgarity and more language. Now moving on to personal experiences, I have been messaged by people I have blocked and received harassment through messages because I blocked them. Let me just tell you blocking someone, but them still being able to message you is not fun and like I previously mentioned, defeats the purpose of a block. So I stick by my statement of a great and functioning block feature being one that prevents people from messaging you, commenting on your profile, trading with you, and from posting on your threads.

I hate to say this, but there is someone I want to block. They haven't done anything to me, yet, but how they have replied to other peoples' posts and just their general attitude, I don't want them doing what they've done to others to me. I want to prevent that from happening and if this behavior continues I might report them with screenshots of all their rude posts. I'm trying really hard not to engage them which is another reason I want to block them. I'm not strong enough. I want to yell and scream at them, but I know that will just get me in trouble also and end up making things more difficult so I need a little extra help... by blocking them.
I went to their profile to see if there was a block button, but couldn't locate one. Is there a way to block someone?
If there isn't, well you can go ahead and move this to the Feedback Thread as a feature suggestion.
And also if there isn't one here is just a suggestion... To make a block feature great and functional, a block should prevent the blocked person from messaging, commenting on profile, sending trades, and from posting on the person who blocked them's threads...
Sorry, if this a little angry sounding. I'm a little angry right now.

"Well, I don't think you'll find a fancy pub in these parts," Faust smiles.

Viceroy begins pulling out a box of tea when Faust stops him.
"I need the purple tin in the back, if you please, Viceroy."
"Huh? Okay."
Viceroy hands Faust the purple tin.
Faust gets out a mug and a tea infuser. He sprinkles a few tablespoons of the tea leaves.
"Now it just needs to steep," Faust mumbles slightly to himself as he pours hot water over them.

"I'm surprised Burnt and Floof haven't shown themselves," Viceroy said while looking about.
"They might be hiding from strangers."

"Um... it's a pub. I wouldn't call it fancy. And don't worry, I don't have any tea that would be that expensive," Faust says with a chuckle, "Maybe you should..."

He puts the finishing touches on Eruca's drink and pushes it towards her.
"Here you go."

Viceroy walks behind the bar grumbling. He begins rifling through the cabinets.
"Teas are on top shelf to the right," Faust says quickly.

Viceroy notices Nala staring at him and gives her a hard stare.

Faust was half tempted to throw Jazz out of the pub for that suggestive remark.
"I have chamomile tea and other assorted relaxation teas," Faust says to Nala.
He looks a little sympathetically at Luc.
"Viceroy and I aren't human, but as a business owner, and one that owns a pub, I have to follow certain human law that dictates I can't serve alcohol to people who don't have IDs. And I'd rather not lose this place because I served a few people without ID alcohol and I don't want people to think I'm getting minors drunk. Plus my family has owned this building for generations..." Faust says," I have some herbal teas that might help if your head is bothering you."

Viceroy chimes in, "I have an ID..."
"That's because you're young. I actually received one too..." Faust replies.
"...Is it fake?"
Faust flicks Viceroy in the forehead causing him to nearly fall off the bar stool.
"Viceroy, shut up and come help make these orders."

@Dragoness129: The Red and Blue servers were recently merged into one sever called Silver and the Yellow server was just renamed to Gold. The game received a few other updates also.

Viceroy stands there staring stupidly. He wasn't entirely sure, but did the skull just wink at him? He wondered if she was flirting.

Faust snorts at Viceroy's expression. He composes himself enough to discreetly take the tea pouch and begins prepping the drink.
"Eh, business has been okay. Viceroy forgets to open up shop most of the time or just chooses not to. There's also our other jobs...," he says trailing off.

Viceroy perches himself on a bar stool and watches Faust work.
He leans in and says under his breath to Faust, "Nice, now hopefully no one asks what our other jobs are."
Faust raises an eyebrow saying quietly, "Something tells me they already know."

( Thanks. I'm still working on banners and the aesthetics though.
I found the gif someplace a few years ago. David Tennant is adorable. Ten also happens to be my favorite doctor.
I don't mind. I'll probably be doing a bunch of OOC snippets when I make updates or people begin joining the contest. People can come as themselves or be in character. Doesn't matter. Just as long as they're enjoying themselves.)

"Yes, of course it needed sharpening. It can never be too sharp..." Faust said only glancing up slightly from his work. He wasn't really wanting to be around people, but Viceroy had decided to actually be responsible for once.
Faust nodded a hello towards Nala and gave a pretty convincing smile, but faking was one of his specialties. He just hoped Viceroy would come back dressed decently.
Faust makes a face at Jazz's PDA then turns to Luc.
"Sure, but since I am a responsible pub owner I'd need to see some ID," he said with a smirk.

Viceroy plods back down the stairs, this time with pants, when he notices people have actually come into the pub.

"Oh, so we have customers already."

...For a minute there, Fozzy, I thought your hair was an imp you were using as a toupee. (I'm sorry it was small icon so I couldn't see it well.)

I've been playing a bit now and it's pretty accurate to the actual games. I have a little beef with some features though. It's kind of weird seeing complete strangers in the MC house. I know it's an MMO, but I've played games where in certain places (like the MC's house) other users were invisible to you until you went to a public area. And the chat is just disorganized and filled with so much spam. Is there a way to hide it because I haven't found a way yet? It kind of makes it hard to keep a conversation with someone. Glad they have a private friend chat though. Which will be the only chat I am using unless I am desperate for something. It's still fun, but I'd like to have seen a little more originality. The rival is new and that's pretty cool, but the parental figure is pretty much just Ash's mom from the anime. And heck yes for having the first three regions. My top favorite three regions.
I do like how they briefly touch base on the whole missing father business because that is something rarely done in the games.

I'm not really into the whole mount thing, but I do have to say, riding on the back of a Houndoom has been a dream of mine ever since that Pokemon race episode in the anime. (because racing a dark fire dog would be much better than racing with a Rapidash)

My character name is GilBarre (supposed to be Gil Barre but spaces are not allowed.) so if ya see him running about, don't be afraid to say hi.
And now for a brief random rant. Some prick randomly ran up to me after I got my first Pokemon and spammed my screen with battle requests. Seriously one after the other. I accepted one to teach him a lesson to not mess with me like that again and kicked his butt. I haven't seen him since, but seriously, you have no idea how many I had to cancel after I had accepted that one. One request is enough! Don't spam people with a ton of requests like an **s.

EDIT: Blep, typo.
