"Oh my! I mean, I was kind of expecting to get penalized there, I didn't think..."

"Er... Who's Phoenix Wright?"

"Then I suggest you go to the lobby. I wish to be alone."
Franziska keeps going, if anything walking a bit faster.

Not having any idea where she was going, but also too angry to care, Franziska proceeded forward. She would go where her feet took her, as long as it was away from Miles Edgeworth.

"Cease your prattling."
Franziska moves to leave the room, intending to push past the boy or barrel through him if necessary. She petulantly refused to acknowledge Miles or his accomplishment.

"Hmph."
Franziska childishly ignores Edgeworth, arms crossed and studying a seemingly extremely interesting spec on the wall.

"Is that all you have to say for yourself?!"
Franziska separates from Edgeworth, glare somehow even sharper, eyes glistening with unshed tears. She turns her back on Edgeworth, not wanting to look at him any longer.

"Well! Next time you feel inclined to leave a suicide note, perhaps you'll be decent enough to leave a corpse, as well!"

". . ."
Franziska stands up, and adjusts her clothing to lay correctly after such a long time sitting. She locks eyes with Miles in a sharp glare, and says nothing for a moment.
Then, she slaps him across the face and throws her arms around his neck in a tight hug!

"You fool! You foolishly foolish fool! How long were you going to let me think you dead!?
Do you have any idea what you did to me, leaving that note and disappearing!?"

"Miles Edgeworth, perhaps you should wash your hands."

"I will not tolerate foolishness such as smearing that filth on me when it comes time to remove this bondage."

"Hmm... It's possible that such a magnet could interact with some mechanism to open the door, but I think we may still be missing something."

"Whoever did this is playing a game of some kind. Otherwise, they wouldn't go to the trouble of chaining me up and not you if they were
just going to lock us in anyway. Ergo, the key to this padlock must be in this room."

"By all means, take your time. I'll just sit here."
The sarcasm in Franziska's voice oozily drips into Miles' ears.

"I can't help but notice you haven't tried the door, yet. As much as I'm enjoying your foray into cosmetics,
perhaps you should confirm whether you're actually stuck in here."

"Don't be foolish. Obviously if such a thing were done above board, the outcome would have been different. It's decided, he cheated, and it didn't count."

"Now, far be it for me to pass judgement on your rescuing skills, but would you like some help?"
